Weekend 1st-3rd May 2020

This first weekend of May has been NUTS! NUTS! I had some very much needed free time but I also had an awful Saturday's evening because my father got sick and he spent the night at hospital. And I was really scared...

But let's focus on the good side, shall we? I haven't done anything to my NOISY - and annoying - neighbour... yet. I've been playing my uke, sunbathing while I read a book, doing a new cardio routine, cooking an aubergine lasagne... AND YES, DEAR DIARY, I'VE BEEN ABLE TO GO OUTSIDE! 😎😎😎

Every year I give my grandma a book and a rose. This year I couldn't. But I called her this afternoon and I told her to write in a post-it the letters R - O - S - A ... She didn't noticed till the end, bless her!

If I ever get lost, you will find me in a library!

I had a good day! Lots of works though, but I allow myself some really great reading time at night *-* I told my students to do a #BookFaceChallenge and I'm going to do a presentation with their pics. And tomorrow is FRIIIIIDAAAAAY!!!

My inner battery is around a 75%, which is more than enough to keep going. I've been planning what do to tomorrow for the BEST DAY EVER. WORLD BOOK DAY!

Apart from that, I haven't got much time to do anything else. I'm looking forward the weekend to finish my Lego set and play Bingo with my neighbours. What? You don't believe me? Any guesses who is the speaker? 😏😏

Here's proof. We were 6 that day.

This couple are very nice and they are 72 and 74 years old. They live with their daughter and the grandma with 98 years old. WOW!

FUNNY FACT - not for me.

I won that day, but I forgot to put the token in the last number and my flatmate truly won the round 😤😤😤

Holy Week 2020

Dear Diary,

This week has been the weirdest holiday week EVER. E-V-E-R.

I'd love to write I have been in Granada with my family, spending some time with my friends, sunbathing in the beach... But I haven't.

I have been at my shared flat. Not very exciting!

I've done a video with my father's family singing 'Resistiré'... like the one with the school's teachers. That was fun! Although it takes maaaany hours.

I've done a carrot cake, aubergine cannelloni, cheese and spinach croquettes, torrijas... #TeacherinMasterChefNextYear

And I've been doing some cardio training but I'm still quite clumsy. I've tried to learn how to dance, but impossible. Once a duck, always a duck.

I've watched several TV-Shows and movies, I've finished a book and I'm still doing my 'Stranger Things' fake Lego set.

Maybe the most exciting thing has been the relationship with my neighbours. We started with a small 'club' of 4 members and now we are 8 talking every day at noon.

We even play Bingo!

And I think that's all dear diary, I miss my old life. I miss my routine, complaining about children, hating Mondays, loving Fridays, drawing in the whiteboard, threatening my students with throwing them out the window... You know, normal stuff.

Half of the week already!

And I think one my favourite moments of the day is at 8 pm when we have to clap our hands for those who take care of us.

I've got a bunch of old classmates that are doctors and nurses but is not only them. There is a lot of people working so we can stay at home and win this so-called battle.

That's why I've spent a few hours drawing and colouring. Nothing amazing, but for me it was important.
