#COroN-ARTE

 P O P   A R T

This week is going to be about  P O P   A R T and that means maaaaany artists, but we are going to focus on too: Roy Lichtenstein & Andy Warhol.

But first:

Do you know why it's called   P O P   A R T ?

Because it made the art POPular!
😂😂😂

So, who were ROY and ANDY?

They both were American artists and they were friends.

Roy became famous for his colourful paintings of comic strip cartoons and everyday objetcs. In this lesson, we are going to focus in the onomatopoeia work that he did in comic books.

Andy became was famous for exploring popular culture in his work. I'm sure you have seen a print of Campbell's Soup - a popular brand of soup in the USA.
